Hey
Workhouse fans!
Thought
you all might be interested to know that the Workhouse and quite a few
of the project crew are going to be featured on Telly this month and
next.. we made a 6 part series with BBC Wales in the summer, with the
working title of Changing Lives -going green, all about sustainable
lifestyles and adapting to the sustainability transition.
It
was a lot of fun to make and we think it will be very entertaining and
funny, and at the very least a chance to laugh at us all.
The programme will be transmitted over 3 weeks (6 episodes in all),
beginning on Monday 23rd Nov at 8.30 on BBC1 Wales, with the next episode
on Thurs 26th Nov at 8.30 on BBC1 Wales. The remaining programmes will
be shown on the Mon and Thurs at the same time over the two weeks after.
There will also be an omnibus shown each Sunday of these weeks although
we haven’t been told at what time this will be yet, and also are
unsure whether this will be BBC1 Wales or BBC2 Wales.
If you don’t get BBC Wales on your digital service, you will be
able to download it on the iPlayer I believe.. so don’t miss out,
have a laugh at our expense! It was filmed in August in the build up
to the Green Fayre we held here and we hope it will help put the project
on the map.

Christmas Fayre
We are also holding a Christmas crafts fayre over the weekend of the
21st and 22nd November.. with the chance to buy and make things for
the festive season. Loads of produce, live music, things to do...

the press release
Many thanks and hope to see you all there

on behalf of the Llanfyllin Workhouse Project
